INGREDIENTS
500g OBC Spaghetti or Macaroni
800g OBC Boerewors (eg. OBC Nyama Boerie Braai)
2 Tomatoes cut in blocks
OBC Mixed Herbs (for flavour)
1 Chilli (optional)
50g Tomato paste
OBC Cooking Oil (for frying the wors)
METHOD
1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling salted water. View cooking instructions on packet
2. Slice the wors up into smaller pieces (discs) and fry in a non-stick pan until the meat starts going brown and is just cooked through. Remove the meat and let it drain on a paper towel. Discard the fat and return to the pan, which is now just coated in a thin layer of the leftover fat.
3. Flash cook the tomatoes until heated through. Add the sausage back with the herbs, chilli and tomato paste and heat through. Check the seasoning and add salt and pepper.
4. Serve with pasta. Quick and easy, dinner sorted!
